WIP Wednesday

SO! What's in the basket, I hear you say...

Well... that's what you're just about to find out!

I love this basket! I borrowed it off my mum in summer so that we could pick wild fruit while we were out on walks, but it turns out it makes a great knitting basket too. It's portable and holds everything I need. I might need another basket come summer so I don't have do multipurpose it...

Here are the current contents of the basket (most of them... there's some junk at the bottom I didn't want to deal with!)

The blue tesco bag has some of my FOs which are waiting for ribbon, buttons, ends to be weaved in, or they're just been kept safe from being mixed in with everything else...

There's some patterns I'm working with, or planning on working with briefly.

The soakers that are waiting to be lanolised... no point putting them away until they're done!

Lip balm, and Kamilosan (of course!)

My tin with all my sewing needles, bits of yarn that I need to sew on buttons, smooth sock yarn that I've kept handy for markers or to make life-lines.

Several balls of yarn I got out earlier to choose what to make some booties from...

WIPs...

Tape measure, scissors, pen, and needle gauge. (if anyone has a pattern/idea/link for a notions bag please let me know! I'd like to be able to fit at least my scissors in the tin, but it's *just* too small unfortunately!)




And now, the works in progress... I felt like I had more... but still...

This is the super cool two at a time toe up socks in cartoon sock yarn. Totally in love with this project!


Some Sarjites booties I'm working on for a friends little boy.

The socks I've been saving for if I fancy knitting in labour... it's a dull pattern repeat for the ankle...

The little mittens I showed you earlier in the week...

There's also the vest that I'm doing for Eve...



And that's it for now. Unless I started another project since Sunday night and forgot to update this post before it was scheduled to be posted... hee hee!
